The controller responsible for the processing of personal data is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

2) Data Collection When Visiting Our Website

2.1 When using our website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called "server log files"). When you access our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

  • Our visited website
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/referrer from which you came to the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used (if applicable: in anonymized form)

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. No disclosure or other use of the data takes place. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the server log files if concrete indications point to illegal use.

2.2 This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or inquiries to the controller). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the string "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser line.

3) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, which are small text files stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after closing the browser (so-called "session cookies"), while others remain on your device for a longer period and allow for the storage of page settings (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage duration in the overview of your web browser's cookie settings.

If personal data are also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing takes place either in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the execution of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in the case of a granted consent, or in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general.

Please note that if cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.

4) Contacting Us

4.1 WhatsApp Business

We offer visitors to our website the opportunity to contact us via the messaging service WhatsApp, provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the so-called "Business version" of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp regarding a specific transaction (e.g., a placed order), we will store and use the mobile number you use on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. GDPR to process and respond to your request. Based on the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address, or email address) to associate your inquiry with a specific process.

If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries (e.g., about the range of services, availability, or our website), we will store and use the mobile number you use on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the desired information efficiently and promptly.

Your data will only be used to respond to your inquiry via WhatsApp. No disclosure to third parties will occur.

Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transmits phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. For the operation of our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device whose address book exclusively stores the WhatsApp contact data of users who have contacted us via WhatsApp.

This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact data is stored in our address book has already consented to the transfer of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR when they first use the app on their device by accepting the WhatsApp terms of use. A transfer of data of users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by WhatsApp, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy

In the context of the processing mentioned above, data transfers to Meta Platforms Inc. servers in the USA may occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

4.2 When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data will be processed - exclusively for the purpose of processing and responding to your request and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact aims at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been definitively clarified and provided that no legal retention obligations prevent deletion.

5) Data Processing When Opening a Customer Account

In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed to the extent necessary if you provide them to us when opening a customer account. The data required for opening an account can be found in the input mask of the corresponding form on our website.

You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the above-mentioned address of the controller. After deletion of your customer account, your data will be deleted, provided that all contracts concluded through it have been fully processed, no legal retention periods prevent deletion, and we no longer have a legitimate interest in further storage.

Subject to your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the provider also conducts a statistical success evaluation of newsletter campaigns using web beacons or tracking pixels in the sent emails, which can measure opening rates and specific interactions with the newsletter content. Device information (e.g., time of access, IP address, browser type, and operating system) is also collected and evaluated, but not merged with other data.
You can revoke your consent to newsletter tracking at any time with effect for the future.

You can object to the storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time by contacting us.

7) Data Processing for Order Fulfillment

7.1 Insofar as necessary for contract fulfillment for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products based on a corresponding contract, we process the contact data you provided during the order (name, address, email address) to personally inform you about upcoming updates within the legally prescribed period in a suitable communication channel (e.g., by post or email) in accordance with our legal information obligations under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Your contact data will be used strictly for the purpose of communicating updates owed by us and processed by us only to the extent necessary for the respective information.

To process your order, we also work with the following service provider(s), who support us in whole or in part in the execution of concluded contracts. Certain personal data are transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.

Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery, we only transmit the recipient's name and delivery address to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The transfer only takes place if this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with the provider or delivery notification is not possible.

The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future from the controller named above or from the provider.
- UPS

As a transport service provider, we use the following provider: United Parcel Service Deutschland Inc. & Co. OHG, Görlitzer Straße 1, 41460 Neuss, Germany

Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery, we only transmit the recipient's name and delivery address to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. The transfer only takes place if this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with the provider or delivery notification is not possible.

The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future from the controller named above or from the provider.

7.3 Use of Payment Service Providers

- Paypal

One or more online payment methods from the following provider are available on this website: PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg

If you select a payment method from the provider that requires advance payment, your payment data provided during the order process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency, and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be transmitted to this provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The transmission of your data in this case occurs exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this.

If you choose a payment method where we make an advance payment, you will also be asked to provide certain personal data during the order process (first and last name, street, house number, postcode, city, date of birth, email address, phone number, and possibly data for an alternative payment method).

In order to protect our legitimate interest in determining your creditworthiness in such cases, these data will be forwarded by us to the provider for a credit check in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Based on the personal data you provide and other data (such as shopping cart, invoice amount, order history, payment experience), the provider checks whether the selected payment option can be granted with regard to payment and/or default risks.

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. The calculation of the score values includes, among other things, but not exclusively, address data.

You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.

7.4 We reserve the right to disclose your data to the collection service provider Miamono if our payment claim has not been settled despite a prior reminder. In this case, the claim will be collected directly by the collection service provider.

The disclosure of your data serves the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR as well as the safeguarding of our overriding legitimate interests in an effective assertion or enforcement of our payment claim in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

8) Web Analysis Services

8.1 Google Tag Manager

This website uses "Google Tag Manager," a service from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "Google").

Google Tag Manager provides a technical basis for bundling various web applications, including tracking and analysis services, and calibrating, controlling, and linking them to conditions via a uniform user interface. Google Tag Manager itself does not store any information on user devices or read it out. The service also does not perform any independent data analyses. However, when a page is accessed via Google Tag Manager, your IP address is transmitted to Google and may be stored there. Transmission to servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.

This processing is only carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, Google Tag Manager will not be used during your visit to the site. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

8.2 Matomo

This website uses a web analysis service from the following provider: InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, ("Matomo")

Pseudonymized usage profiles can be created and evaluated from this data for the same purpose. Cookies may be used for this. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the website visitor's internet browser. Among other things, cookies enable the recognition of the internet browser. If data collected with Matomo technology (including your pseudonymized IP address) is transferred to Matomo servers in New Zealand and processed for usage analysis purposes, we inform you that the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for New Zealand, which certifies compliance with European data protection standards for international data transfers.

The pseudonymized information generated by the cookie is not used to personally identify the visitor to this website and is not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.
If data is also transferred to the provider's servers and the web analysis service has not been installed locally on our server, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, Matomo will not be used during your visit to the site.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

8.3 Matomo

This website uses a web analytics service from the following provider: InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, ("Matomo")

To protect site visitors, Matomo uses a so-called "config_id" to enable various analyses of site usage within a short time window of up to 24 hours. The site's "config_id" is a randomly set, temporarily limited hash of a limited set of the visitor's settings and attributes. The config_id or config-hash is a string calculated for a visitor based on their operating system, browser, browser plugins, IP address, and browser language. Matomo does not use device fingerprinting and uses an anonymized IP address of the site visitor to create the "config_id".

If the information processed in this way includes personal user data, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes. In order to object to future data processing of your visitor data, we provide a separate opt-out option on our website.

If data is also transferred to the provider's servers and the web analysis service has not been installed locally on our server, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

9) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

9.1 Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in your device's browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. Further data processing only takes place if you have agreed to Google linking your internet and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged into Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form target audiences. As part of the use of Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to the site.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

9.2 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, within the framework of Google Ads, conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. Our goal is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that allows users to be personally identified. As part of the use of Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the browser plug-in from Google available at the following link:
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de

Please note that certain functions of this website may not be available or may be limited if you have deactivated the use of cookies.
Google's privacy policy can be viewed here: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10) Site Functionalities

10.1 Instagram Plugins

Our website uses plugins from the social network of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland

These plugins enable direct interaction with content on the social network.

To enhance the protection of your data when visiting our website, the plugins are initially deactivated using a so-called "2-click" or "Shariff" solution.

This integration ensures that when you access a page of our website that contains such plugins, no connection is established with the provider's servers yet.

Only when you activate the plugins and thus give your consent to data transmission in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers. In this process, regardless of whether you are logged into an existing user profile, certain information about your end device (including your IP address), your browser, and your page history is transmitted to the provider and possibly further processed there.

If you are logged into an existing user profile on the provider's social network, information about interactions carried out via the plugins will also be published there and displayed to your contacts.
You can revoke your consent at any time by reactivating the activated plugin by clicking on it again. However, the revocation has no influence on the data that has already been transferred to the provider.

Data may also be transferred to: Meta Platforms Inc., USA

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.2 Google Maps

This website uses an online map service from the following provider: Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and any directions are facilitated.

Already when accessing the sub-pages into which the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transferred to Google's servers and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish the assignment to your profile with Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.

The collection, storage, and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in the display of personalized advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of Google websites. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google as part of the use of Google Maps, it is also possible to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by turning off JavaScript in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the map display on this website can then no longer be used.

Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please follow the possibility of objection described above.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.3 Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called Web Fonts from the following provider for the uniform display of fonts: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

When you access a page, your browser loads the necessary Web Fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly and establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers. In this process, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.

Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA

The processing of personal data in the course of establishing contact with the font provider will only take place if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service via the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website. If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

10.4 Google Customer Reviews (formerly Google Certified Shop Program)

We work with Google as part of the "Google Customer Reviews" program. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). This program allows us to collect customer reviews from users of our website. After a purchase on our website, you will be asked whether you would like to participate in an email survey from Google.

If you give your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, we will transmit your email address to Google. You will receive an email from Google Customer Reviews asking you to rate your shopping experience on our website. The rating you submit will then be summarized with our other ratings and displayed in our Google Customer Reviews logo and in our Merchant Center dashboard. In addition, your rating will be used for Google Seller Ratings. As part of the use of Google Customer Reviews, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the data controller or to Google.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

11) Tools and Miscellaneous

Cookie Consent Tool

This website uses a "Cookie Consent Tool" to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "Cookie Consent Tool" is displayed to users in the form of an interactive interface when they visit the page, where consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by checking a box. Through the use of this tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives their consent by checking the appropriate box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's end device if consent has been given.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. Personal user data is generally not processed in this process.

If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning, or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in a legally compliant, user-specific, and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our internet presence.

A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.

To the extent necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further information on the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

12) Data Subject Rights

  • Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR;
  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR;

  • Right to withdraw granted consents pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR;
  • Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.

12.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON THE BASIS OF OUR OVERRIDING LEGITIMATE INTEREST WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF A BALANCING OF INTERESTS, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ASSERTION, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING. YOU CAN EXERCISE THE OBJECTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

13) Duration of storage of personal data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and – if applicable – additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. commercial and tax law retention periods).

When personal data is processed on the basis of explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, the data concerned will be stored until you revoke your consent.

If statutory retention periods exist for data processed in the context of legal or quasi-legal obligations on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided it is no longer necessary for the fulfilment or initiation of a contract and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in continued storage.

When personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

When personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 (2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration on specific processing situations, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
