WINTER IN THE PALATINATE

Winter has arrived here in the Palatinate – even with snow. We used a few quiet, unhurried days to take a deep breath. In the vineyards, pruning continues, currently without Papa Werner, who is recovering from his hip surgery.

In the cellar, preparations for the first bottling in March are slowly beginning.

From mid-March: Our summer mood is expanding: Spring Joy, Autumn Gold, and Winter Moments are joining us. Also, a Merlot from the wooden barrel with ripe dark berries, fine roasted aromas, and a soft, harmonious structure.
