THE FINISHING TOUCHES FOR WINE AND DESIGN
In February, we'll continue with pruning. We'll also start tying up the shoots.
In the cellar, we're giving the wines their finishing touches before bottling: The wines are filtered and tasted one last time – the final, crucial step before bottling.
Last week, we were at the printing company to finalize our new label pre-prints. This year, the layout will change a bit again, but the content will remain as usual – just the way you like it. ;-)
As announced in the last newsletter, we will be bottling our first Merlot at the beginning of March. The vineyard in the "In der Heimling" site was replanted in spring 2023, and the grapes from the first harvest were allowed to mature in barrique barrels for over 15 months.
The results of the samples were already very promising: ripe dark berries, fine toasted aromas, and a soft, harmonious structure.
Our wine evening will take place on March 28th. There are still a few spots left – please let us know if you'd like to participate.
